About Bryan Weir
Mr. Weir is an experienced litigator who focuses on constitutional, regulatory, and consumer privacy matters. He has briefed and presented oral argument in state and federal courts across the country, including the Supreme Court of the United States. He argued for the petitioner and prevailed in Corner Post, Inc. v. Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System before the Supreme Court, which resulted in a pathmarking decision involving the Administrative Procedure Act. He was also trial counsel and part of the team that prevailed before the Supreme Court in the landmark case Students for Fair Admissions, Inc. v. Harvard College and University of North Carolina. He regularly represents states and their instrumentalities in constitutional and regulatory challenges to state and federal laws.Mr. Weir also represents consumers, companies, and organizations in cases involving privacy and civil rights violations under state and federal law. For example, he is lead counsel in numerous class actions across the country. And he was trial counsel in a high-profile housing discrimination case that resulted in one of the largest recoveries by a single plaintiff in the history of the Fair Housing Act.
