ABOUT BRYAN VAN DER VELDE

Isn’t it crazy that with some fuel, air and a spark you can run an engine? Or, at the gas station you pour “a” fluid in your car or even connect a cable and you can get from A to B. For most people this is the natural order of things. But, keep in mind there is a lot of technology at work to make this happen.With almost 20 years of experience as an engine/-vehicle calibration engineer I have successfully implemented a lot of different technologies to get people from A to B in their vehicles. I have executed many diesel/gasoline/hybrid projects covering OBD, R&D, emissions development/-certification, drive-ability, controls and base engine development.Now as an account manager with a solid engineering back ground I am highly interested in providing you with excellent engineering solutions for your success. AVL\'s technology spectrum ranges from base engine development to simulations to full electric self-driving cars.In my role as an account manager I am responsible for business development, long-term customer relations, creating business plans and strategies. I truly enjoy my role.Also, in case you are not in need of any brilliant engineering solutions and you just want to chat about some cool mountain bike trails or that steep hill you have mastered, then I am your man too. My languages include: English, German and Dutch (all fluent) And yes, I enjoy cars.
