I’m a partner at Hill Country Partners (HCP), based in Austin, Texas. We acquire, develop, and preserve affordable and workforce housing across the Southwest, with more than 500 units currently under control in Texas and Louisiana.Our focus is on LIHTC, HUD, and USDA Rural Development transactions, often in partnership with local housing authorities and nonprofit groups. We pursue projects that combine solid financial structure with lasting community impact.My work centers on sourcing and structuring deals, assembling partnerships, and navigating complex financing programs to move projects from concept to closing and beyond.

In addition to overseeing new property and third party management acquisition, Mr. Schneider is responsible for portfolio oversight of Sandalwood Management USA. He facilitates all property takeovers, liaising internally with regional/onsite property managers and back office operations and externally with required government entities and lenders to smoothly onboard properties to SWM USA. He oversees all special projects at the properties and is physically onsite for all management transitions. Since 2010, he has facilitated the purchase and/or management takeover of 33 properties totaling over 3,500 doors, valued at over $300 million.
