About Bryan Schertzer
I am passionate about science, chemistry, innovating, learning new things, and leading teams to have an impact through the sciences. Throughout my career in R&D, I have had the opportunity to contribute through a combination of these passions. I have held various roles in large global organizations as a researcher and inventor, a process improvement leader, an Innovation Strategist, a Segment CTO, and a Quality & Food Safety Laboratory Network Leader. I have worked in industrial chemicals, consumer chemicals, and food & beverage markets.I am committed to developing people and have lead teams all over the world. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is supporting the success of others and celebrating their accomplishments. Exposure to other cultures, viewpoints and global markets has also been an aspect of my experiences that I have embraced. I am known for my curiosity, a strategic mindset, and a focus on facts, data, and good science. My strong communication skills and an ability to connect technical concepts with practical applications and contributions are recognized through value added publications and patents. I often ask, “how does what we are working on today change what will be done tomorrow, what value will it bring?” Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, being outdoors, and dabbling in arts and music.
