Partnering with energy & natural resource operators to define and quantify measurable financial outcomes before deployment. Leading enterprise engagements that unify IT systems, operational time series, and unstructured engineering documentation into a contextualized data foundation enabling LLM querying and rapid deployment of off-the-shelf and bespoke use case applications. Structuring and executing value-based contracts tied directly to production uplift, OPEX reduction, CAPEX deferral, workforce productivity gains, and IT cost consolidation.

ABOUT BRYAN ROSS

I work with energy and industrial operators to turn industrial data into measurable financial outcomes.Over the past nine years, I have focused on commercializing software and integrated services across upstream, midstream, LNG, and petrochemical operations. Experience spans well operations, production systems, emissions management, field data workflows, and enterprise compliance. The common theme has been moving complex solutions from pilot to enterprise scale with financial discipline. One pattern has remained consistent: if the data foundation is weak, the application layer will not deliver lasting value. That is what drew me to Cognite. At Cognite, the focus is not on selling software for its own sake. Contracts are scoped and delivered based on quantified customer value. If measurable impact cannot be identified across production, OPEX, CAPEX, workforce productivity, or IT cost consolidation, the platform is not pushed. An embedded value engineering discipline ensures that financial outcomes are defined up front and tracked in real time. The platform unifies industrial IT systems, operational time series data, and unstructured engineering documentation into a contextualized data foundation. From that foundation, operators can deploy off-the-shelf and bespoke use case applications rapidly, with updates delivered in real time as operational needs evolve.Previously, I led Envana’s (a Halliburton JV) global commercialization of emissions management software and services, supporting a 200+ partner ecosystem across North America, Latin America, Europe, MENA, and Asia-Pacific. There I closed enterprise partnerships with ADNOC, ENAP, PTTEP, and Coastal Bend LNG, generated seven-figure revenue with an eight-figure qualified pipeline, rebuilt commercial organizations, redesigned pricing and compensation structures, and aligned go-to-market execution with delivery capacity and investor objectives.Earlier roles included managing supermajor accounts at IPT Global, including bp and ExxonMobil, and completing offshore deployments on 13 rigs worldwide. If you are evaluating how to unify industrial data, reduce operational friction, or tie digital initiatives directly to financial outcomes, I welcome the conversation.
