I am a Patent Agent with +12 years of experience working in Intellectual Property Law. I have extensive experience with patent preparation and patent prosecution. I have drafted over 500 patent applications and obtained over 200 patents for my clients. I often work with highly technical and complex technology areas related to telecommunications, software, electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical applications. My practice involves patent litigation, licensing, prosecution (both Utility and Design patents) as well as patent portfolio developing which includes facilitating invention mining sessions with my clients to explore potentially patentable ideas. I have experience with developing strategies for addressing and preempting Alice Corp. related patent eligibility rejections (i.e. section 101 rejections) from the USPTO. My strategies have been used to both avoid and overcome section 101 rejections.
