Oil Rig Electrician over 25 years of diverse electrical and electronics experience. Experience with multiple types of Rigs, IEC, IDS, Canbrake, Omron, Ideal. both DC and AC. Served as the only electrician kept throughout the downturn in West Texas for Sidewinder, currently employed. Recent experience with Weatherfords permanent magnet motor/ mud pump. Disassembled motor and pump at Weatherfords location. Experience with marine electrical and electronics, PLC, industrial electricity and electronics, commercial and residential electricity, power generation, electrical motors, motor controls, SCR, VFD, remote control systems, radio control relay systems (JOKER). My experience is with high and low voltage, both AC and DC systems. Trisponder Gear and antennae. I have attended NOV EDS school, H2S Safety, Canrig Top Drive schools. I have TWIC certification, OSHA-10, Passport, Safeland Rig Pass, H2S Respiratory Fit Test While in the US Navy I qualified as Electrician, Engineman, Small boat Coxswain and second class swimmer (entry level rescue swimmer).
