About Bryan Ptaszek

My name is Bryan Ptaszek, I am currently a student in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. Currently I am working to enhance and polish my skills in marketing and sales. I pride myself on my ability to be adaptive and aware of other peoples feelings and needs, seeing the deeper meaning in individuals body language and words so that I may better connect with them. With this, I use those skills in my retail work where I am constantly assisting customers and forming connections in order to deliver optimal customer service and close sales. I particularly am knowledgeable in the area of footwear and well informed on current trends and innovation being put into the industry.When I think of my future, I try to set my goals to be both achievable but challenging and will push me to be a better individual in my field. With my love of footwear and athletics, I hope to achieve a marketing and sales position with an athletic wear company that I will be able to contribute my talents too and further grow myself. While I do have a wide spanning interest in footwear, I hold a particular interest in the running scene, as I was a track and field athlete for many years and fell in love with not only the sport but the innovation and technology I saw in our equipment throughout my journey. Recently I have made a strong effort to involve myself in this field of interest through companies such as Nike and Dicks Sporting Goods. I hope to be able to share my knowledge with others and be able to help market and sell a brand that holds the same passion I do for footwear and assisting others in their journey as an athlete.
