About Bryan McLellan

As a Fulbright Research Fellow at Fulbright Germany, I am pursuing my passion for cardiac device design and innovation. I am working on a novel blood pump using CAD software as well as manufacturing tracheal tubes for premature births. I am also supporting ongoing life support systems and conducting testing to ensure product compliance with ISO standards. I graduated with a B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of Louisville in May 2023, where I was a Grawemeyer Scholar and a leader in various student organizations. I was heavily involved in undergraduate research focused on cardiac device design, which led me to present my work at three international conferences. I also served as the President of the J.B. Speed School of Engineering, Director of Student Success, and Services Vice President. Additionally, I was elected as the President and Director of Mentorship for the Grawemeyer Scholars Program. My goal is to contribute to the advancement of medical technology and improve the quality of life for patients.
