About Bryan Kraynack
As a Principal Scientist for Ionian, a subsidiary of Alere Inc, Dr. Kraynack contributed to the development of the first FDA-approved, CLIA-waived nucleic acid-based test, the Alere i Influenza A&B assay, and subsequent molecular POC tests. Additionally, Dr. Kraynack led Ionian’s efforts in developing assays for the innovative ANSR pathogen detection system for Neogen Corporation, including AOAC Research Institute-validated ANSR tests for Salmonella, Listeria, Listeria monocytogenes, and E. coli O157:H7. Currently, at LumiraDX, Dr. Kraynack is focused on developing new molecular diagnostic amplification technologies for use in LumiraDX’s molecular Point-of-Care diagnostic applications.
