About Bryan Hughes

With over 12 years of work experience in the field of genomics and fertility, I am a passionate and driven Director of Business Development at CooperSurgical Fertility and Genomic Solutions. I have a strong background in laboratory science, clinical education, sales, and marketing, and I hold certifications in C1 Spanish and Negotiation Mastery from Instituto Cervantes and Harvard Business School. My mission is to help IVF clinics and patients access the best and most advanced genomic solutions for their reproductive health and wellness. I value innovation, collaboration, and customer satisfaction, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the CooperSurgical team, having worked in various regions and markets across North America and Latin America. In my current role, I serve as the clinical expert in PGT-A and PGT-M product lines for all territories in the USA and Canada. I am the primary clinical educator for North America on PGT-A/M, conducting in-office seminars for our clients and genomics-focused training for our internal sales staff. I also assist local territory representatives by giving clinical talks on topics ranging from embryo mosaicism to general PGD/S 101 and Genomics 101. Additionally, I drive sales and corporate accounts by closing new business and transitioning accounts from legacy procedures to CooperGenomics. I collaborate closely with territory managers, marketing team, and Latin America team to develop key accounts and brand messaging for CooperGenomics. I have successfully opened new laboratories in Houston and Toronto, and increased the user retention and satisfaction rates for CooperGenomics products and services.
