Hey there! My name is Bryan, and I\'m excited to connect with you on LinkedIn. For the past 10+ years, I\'ve been working in the healthcare industry as a security officer, and while I\'ve loved my time there, I\'m ready for a new challenge.🤔 After some serious soul-searching, I\'ve decided to make a career change and dive headfirst into the world of data analytics. I\'ve always been drawn to analytics and finding trends that can provide insight. I fell in love with data during my first fantasy baseball season in which I created my own statistics from several different magazines and websites using excel. It could have been beginner’s luck, but I finished first that year! I know that my passion for data and attention to detail will serve me well in this new field.To prepare for my transition, I\'ve been studying Excel, SQL, and Python, which got really serious when I attended an intensive 6-month Data Analysis and Visualization Boot Camp online from the University of Minnesota. I completed 20 projects during this program including a capstone where my team and I created a machine learning model to determine what vehicle characteristics affect CO2 emissions the most. 🤯 I\'ve been blown away by what I\'ve learned during that program and everything since. I can\'t wait to start applying my new skills to real-world problems and making a meaningful impact.When I\'m not thinking about data analytics, you can usually find me playing video games or catching up on my streaming backlog. I\'m a huge fan of Star Wars and I love spending time with my family.I\'m excited to 🤝 connect with others in the data analytics community and learn as much as I can from those who have come before me.
