About Bryan Harrell
Bryan C. Harrell, M.S, joined SEARCH in 2004 and has over 20 years of professional experience. Mr. Harrell is responsible for project management, business development, and research integrity. His research specializations include the Tidewater region, Woodland cultures, prehistoric subsistence, and zooarchaeology. Mr. Harrell manages archaeological survey and site assessments throughout the region, having completed more than 200 archaeological site assessments at SEARCH. He has expertise and training in Sections 106 and 110 of the NHPA, NEPA, and NAGPRA, and he has worked across the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and West Indies. He earned his master’s degree from Florida State University in 2005 and his bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University in Mr. Harrell is a US Army veteran and has held research and instruction positions at FSU, ECU, and the National Park Service Southeast Archaeological Center. He is listed on the Register of Professional Archaeologists.
