Main duties include estimating, designing and draughting electrical control panels using RADAN (CAD package) based on specifications relevant to clients.Liaising with the Electrical Engineers from various established companies such as AMEC, Converteam and The Wood Group to meet British Standard regulations therefore ensuring specifications are met while maintaining excellent workmanship. Designing arc fault contained busbar systems and 690v electrical switchboards for industrial and navy projects. Our products include control panels, shore connection panels, motor control panels, withdrawable motor control panels, distribution panels and marine switchboards up to with arc contained busbars. I recently designed low voltage switchgear to IEC61641 criteria 1 - 7 @ 690v, we at NCE Switchgear are now market leaders in this field as we know of no other company that can offer this safety facility in low voltage switchgear.
