About Bryan Bailey

I am presently employed at the York County History Center as their Registrar for both the Library and Collections departments. In the Library I assist patrons with research requests, process new donations to the library, and complete a wide variety of other assignments. In the Collections department I assist with our ongoing inventory project. I graduated from York College of Pennsylvania Magna Cum Laude with a 3.76 GPA in 2016 with a Bachelor\'s Degree in Arts.I recently completed my first digital exhibit for the York County History Center. It details the amazing journey of 4 women who drove from York County, PA to Los Angeles in the summer of 1938 and back. It uses resources within the library as well as materials loaned from living descendants of the Hively family. I find digital exhibits as an exciting new opportunity to museums and libraries of all sizes to present stories to their respective communities, and creating such exhibits is personally rewarding for me. Despite how much I enjoy working at my current position, after 4 years at my current position I am looking forward to new opportunities. I am excited to bring the skills I have learned to an organization that can fully utilize my potential. I look forward to working with new professionals in the field and bringing my abilities, knowledge and personality to their team.
