You probably have already heard about \"coolroofing\"! Invented by ancient Greeks and brought up to date in the USA in the 2010s, this low technology consists in applying a white coating on a roof in order to reflect solar rays and thus, reduce its temperature.Consequences may be really amazing and unexpected- Indoor temperature drops (by 4 to 8°C), maintaining occupants comfort and keeping merchandise in right conditions - Energy consumption for air conditionning/cooling falls substantially (by 10 to 50%)- When installed on the roof, electrical air conditioning/cooling systems work more smoothly, finding freshness in the outdoor air - Roof\'s lifespan (bituminous membrane) is extended (by approx. 10 years)- Even photovoltaic efficiency increases, as solar panel yield gradually declines when temperature exceeds 25°C. Not to mention bifacial modules that can produce on both sides and hence dramatically raise their output- … Cool Roof is committed in developing a sustainable coolroofing industry in France and abroad. Our offering portfolio includes solutions to preserve the environment, measure impacts and maintain reflectance over time. Feel free to reach out to consider an ambitious coolroofing project with your large-scale roofing park!Cool Roof is Bcorp-certified and funded by Team For The Planet.

ABOUT BRUNO SIVARDIERE
Energy shift is underway: renewable energies are soaring, and fossil fuels may soon reach a consumption peak. But, and there is a but, overall and worldwide energy consumption is still rising… In this context, energy savings should be priority number 1. And most specifically, buildings should be on the forefront of energy savings, as major contributors to power use (heating, air conditioning, lighting,…). Before getting involved into the field of energy transition, I have worked for 20 years in the ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) industry, promoting cloud solutions in the customer interactions management area (Contact Center as a Service or CCaaS). My journey in business development of new technologies was manifold: Sales to key accounts, sales team management and international growth. Strongly believing that a smart way of doing business development can really help boost innovations, I drew on the SPIN Selling model as the best-selling approach to speed up positive transformations. I have always urged, as internal SPIN Selling trainer, my teams and peers to focus on customer pains in terms of strategy, business positioning, issues to solve, personal concerns, technological environment. Rather than on mere \"explicit needs\". I am a top performer when offerings clearly have heavy impacts, that is when value provided to clients (efficiency, quality, growth.) and/or other stakeholders (benefits for the environment or the people) is the real driver of the company. From this perspective, my reference points are the inspiring Simon Sinek\'s Ted Talk \"How great leaders inspire action\", and the breakthrough Blue Ocean strategy. They drive powerful marketing visions. This is the main reason I decided to shift my professional path towards the energy transition industry, taking part to the fight against climate change. Small and large businesses need clear and strong assistance to design new ways of managing power for themselves and for the planet. Solutions for energy savings and self-consumption are available. Let\'s promote them!
