ABOUT BRUNO MOLENA

I’m a Senior Visual Designer born in São Paulo, living in London since 2006. It was here that I studied Advertising, the MA Design for communication, and where my passion for digital, typography, fashion, photography, music and entertainment came together.In 2011 I joined Sky Creative in the Digital Department as a Junior Designer, working on campaign banners for the website and smaller web pages. After one year I was promoted to UI digital Designer, a mid weight role where I had the opportunity to work on bigger projects, such as Live Chat and the Digital Global Guidelines and toolkit. In the latter I was able to prove myself as a Senior Designer as I had to create, visual elements and patterns to be rolled across the whole of the website to bring a responsive and more consistent website.Proficient in Adobe package, photo manipulation, typography, brand identity design.Outside the world of design I have three main passions which is entertainment, music and fashion. The most fulfilled I can be as a creative designer is when I can marry the content of of a passion of mine with my design skills. I have constant desire to combine beautiful with functionality; for a product (that can be a website, web app, mobile app, etc.) to really excel and outshine the fierce and rising competition that exists in the digital world - beautiful, functional, user centered, with a UX and UI so simple and sleek that when used the experience should feel seamless, natural - almost invisible.To achieve such high standard of experience UI and UX must be carefully thought out with best practices, consistency and that desire to push the envelope which can aid the branding side as well.Main areas of expertize:• Responsive web design• Typography• Layouts• Global guidelines.
