Pharmaceutical CMC consultant with over 30-years of experience in formulation design, materials science, drug product manufacturing, regulatory filings, computational modeling, and strategic leadership. Currently focused on solid state chemistry, immediate release solid dosage forms and amorphous dispersions. Globally recognized subject matter expert and thought leader who has published more than 140 full research papers and has served as an advisor to the United States Pharmacopoeia on the use and testing of pharmaceutical materials since 1995. Recognized with many awards including the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain Science Medal for contributions to pharmaceutical research and Fellow status in the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS)(2004). Currently serving as an Editor for the Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and for the Handbook of Pharmaceutical Excipients.
