Oxentia (formerly Isis Enterprise) is the consultancy arm of Oxford University Innovation. We work with universities, research institutes, and government agencies in the UK and around the world to develop services and advance their activities related to innovation, impact and entrepreneurship. Since we were established in 2004, Oxentia has worked in over 50 countries around the globe. In recognition of our successful international growth, Oxentia has been awarded a Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2015.Our work falls into four main categories: • Technology Transfer Management: Members of staff may be seconded to other universities on a part time basis, to help them manage and commercialise their intellectual property. We also offer advisory services to assist offices in developing their Knowledge Exchange and Technology Transfer processes and policies, and we provide scouting services to connect industry to innovative research.• Technology Commercialisation: We help clients bring innovations to market through a variety of bespoke services. This includes market and IP assessments, patenting and commercialisation strategies, valuations and financial analysis, marketing and lead generation, and the facilitation of spin-outs and licensing deals. • Training, Mentoring and Capacity Building: We offer a range of training courses in all aspects of technology commercialisation, entrepreneurship, impact and innovation. We provide training both for tech transfer offices and innovation programme managers, as well as researchers and entrepreneurs.• Innovation Research and Strategy: We support organisations to design, implement, and evaluate programmes through a range of offerings. This includes bench marking studies, best practice reviews, innovation ecosystem reviews, impact assessments, business case development and planning, and higher education strategy.
