As Chief Quality & Regulatory Officer at Nonacus Ltd, a biotechnology company developing and commercialising genomic in vitro diagnostic (IVD) technologies for oncology, I lead quality and regulatory governance across the organisation. With over 20 years of experience in regulated clinical diagnostics and genomics, I support the company’s mission to improve patient outcomes through earlier, more accurate cancer detection by ensuring proportionate, risk-based implementation of complex regulatory requirements aligned with innovation, patient safety, and commercial growth.Reporting directly to the CEO, I hold executive accountability for quality governance and regulatory compliance across the organisation’s IVD portfolio and clinical services. I act as the designated PRRC under EU IVDR and senior accountable officer for UK MDR (UKCA), ensuring manufacturer obligations are met across conformity assessment, technical documentation, performance evaluation, post-market surveillance, vigilance, and regulatory strategy in EU and UK markets.I oversee management systems accredited to ISO 13485, ISO 15189, and ISO 27001, ensuring quality, risk, and information security governance are embedded across the full product lifecycle—from development and production through market access and post-market oversight. I provide executive regulatory judgement in complex environments and ensure regulatory requirements are translated into clear operational accountability and scalable governance structures that support sustainable growth.
