ABOUT BRUNO MENDOZA
Bruno Mendoza had undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering at The National Autonomous University of Mexico. He studied abroad at BYU, Utah, USA, where he studied mathematics, American history, and world religions. At University of California, Santa Barbara, USA, he participated in the “Business Technology Program” approach Asia where he studied under Karen Smith, lecturer and former CEO of Kodak China. He began his graduates studies at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Indiana, USA in advance calculus and material science. Followed by an academic stay at KAUST King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Saudi Arabia. Where he continued his studies in material science under Dr. Sahraoui Cheieb, the former head of implants research at MIT. Bruno holds a MBA from the Advance Studies Center for the Americas, located in Mexico. For his social service activities, he received the medal Dr. Gustavo Baz Prada in 2011. In 2013, he received the medal Benemerito de las Americas, for the highest academic merit at the Advance Studies Center for the Americas, for his outstanding academic and professional development. During his doctoral studies in business administration at the Autonomous University of Durango, he worked on the thesis topic: Challenges of Organizational Change in the Automotive Industry in Mexico. Bruno began his career at Ford Motor Company in Finance in the Global Asset Management group in 2011. By 2012 he joined the Purchasing team in the Supplier Technical Assistance work group. In February 2013, he received in Detroit, USA, the award Above & Beyond, representing Ford of Mexico office from the Director of the Americas. In 2014, he was nominated and selected to participate in the Global Purchasing Leadership Program. He moved to leadership positions in Core Purchasing, Program Management Product Development, Program Management and currently as Site Manager in Electrical STA Ford.
