Member of the Offshore Loads and Structural Dynamics team. To date in my role, I have contributed to the load analysis of 6.5+ GW of offshore wind capacity, covering 450+ turbines across Europe and APAC. Experienced with the latest 15 MW+ WTGs from Vestas, SGRE and Mingyang, I focus on optimising foundation design and delivering the most cost-effective dynamically coupled Foundation-WTG system. Key responsibilities:• (Pre-)FEED: Perform conceptual design load calculations with Bladed and develop design position selection and clustering studies.• Pre-Processing: Interpret metocean data and generate hydrodynamic load inputs for (L)ILA.• Load Verification: Conduct ULS and FLS post-processing of (L)ILA time series and carry out plausibility checks on the loads provided by the WTG supplier.• Documentation: Prepare technical reports for certification body approval, including Design Basis Part C (Hydrodynamic Analysis; Clustering and Damping; Seismic Impact), as well as technical notes and design reports such as Foundation Input Specification and Foundation Design Loads for (L)ILA.• Interface to Project Stakeholders: Externally, coordinate load analysis alignment between Foundation Designer, WTG Supplier, and Wind Farm Developer. Internally, derive location-specific design loads for structural and geotechnical departments.• Tool Chain: Develop and validate in-house tools and features, from concept to implementation.• Load Assessments: Conduct load studies (wind, wave, ice and earthquakes) for clients.
