    Acting as incident manager and federal on-scene coordinator during the investigation, response, recovery, and enforcement phases for marine environmental disaster incidents.•Inspecting waterfront designated dangerous cargo facilities and conducting risk analysis to ensure CFR and ISO compliance for security and environmental safety, including biannual participation in multi-agency strike force operations (MASFO) at the ports of Tacoma and Seattle.•Partnering with industry to encourage the transformation of digital security practices for waterfront facilities.•Conducting port state examinations of foreign vessels to enforce international SOLAS, ISPS, and MARPOL standards.Formal USCG training includes: meteorology, chemistry of hazardous materials, OSHA safety regulations, designated waterfront facility safety and security, bulk transfer operations, hazardous materials handling, vessel safety and manning requirements, port-state control examination, pollution investigation and response, shipping container inspection, explosive handling supervision, and HAZWOPER requirements.(29CFR, 33CFR, 46CFR, 40CFR, 29CFR, SOLAS, STCW, MARPOL).
