ABOUT BRUNA POMAZI
A little bit about me is that I am currently a 3rd year student and senior at Quinnipiac University with the end goal of pursuing a career as a physician. Currently, I am completing my B.S. in Biology, with plans to graduate in May 2026, and have begun my M.S. in Molecular and Cell Biology in the fall semester, completing my graduate degree in May 2027. Beyond academics, I have gained a lot of hands on experience in different healthcare roles. As the Secretary of Quinnipiac University EMS, I play a key role in managing organizational operations, facilitating communication, and ensuring the efficiency of our student-run EMS. I also work part-time as a Medical Assistant in an urgent care, where I assist in patient evaluations, clinical procedures, and administrative tasks to support efficient and high-quality care in a fast-paced clinic.In addition to my clinical work, I am an EMT working two EMS jobs in my hometown fire departments. Through these roles, I provide pre-hospital emergency medical care, respond to 911 calls, and work with other first responders to deliver life saving interventions in critical situations. My passion for emergency medicine extends to education, as I am also a certified BLS Instructor, teaching CPR and basic life support skills to healthcare professionals and the general public. With each experience, I continue to try and strengthen my clinical knowledge, leadership skills, and ability to provide compassionate care. Let\'s connect!
