About Bruce Tolbert

I am inspired by architecture and communities that are connected to the urban fabric, sustainable and walkable. While traveling and studying architecture as a graduate student, I developed a deep appreciation of the beauty, scale and design of historic European architecture, towns and cities. I get excited about built communities that embody the design principles of New Urbanism.Most recently, I served as Director of Design for Ware + Associates and was focused on the design of Retail and K-12 school projects and Quality Assurance reviews. As an experienced and well-rounded registered Architect, I value a holistic design process. I enjoy sketching, discussing and exploring design concepts and am known for my project management skills, congenial leadership style, organization and attention to detail.
