ABOUT BRUCE TATEN

As a practicing attorney and former CPA, I have spent my career partnering with Boards of Directors and C-level executives to provide sophisticated, practical solutions for balancing risk and opportunity to achieve company initiatives. My deep experience in transactional, litigation, compliance, and internal investigation matters was honed over almost two decades as the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for successful NYSE-listed energy, manufacturing, and distribution companies, including Cooper Industries, Nabors Industries, Pentacon, and Keystone International. I currently focus on corporate board service and consulting with companies on their compliance programs and corporate governance issues, including on environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters and appearing as an expert witness in litigation in state courts and international arbitrations. I serve on the Board of Directors for Jeld-Wen, Inc.(NYSE:JELD), a global manufacturer of windows and doors and Aviat Networks, Inc.(NASDAQ: AVNW), a leading expert in wireless transport solutions. I previously served on the Board of Moran Foods, a private-equity owned discount grocer. Prior to my corporate law experience, I was a CPA with Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co.(now KPMG) and a corporate and tax attorney with Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett and Sutherland Asbill & Brennan. I hold my FSA Credential from the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB). I earned my undergraduate and master\'s degree at Georgetown University and my law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School.
