With five decades in IT, I\'m a connector between people, processes, and technologies to provide business ecosystem services, needs, and opportunities. In my role @ Texas DIR, I am responsible for the strategies and delivery of IT services utilized across the state of Texas government and educational organizations. As a technologist, I manage servers, networks, mainframes, storage, applications, and data centers: private and public, database, user experience, and cybersecurity. This includes programs such as disaster recovery, change, availability, capacity, performance management, refresh and moderation, client IT architectures, enterprise architecture and standards, IT automation, financial services (I.e, texas.gov), etc. Previously, I was the founder, CTO, and COO for MediSpecialty.com- a digital marketing IT firm for the BioMedical and Pharmaceutical sectors- pushing out campaigns and websites directly to consumers and medical practitioners.
