About Bruce Hayden

I have over 25 years experience in driving EHS in multiple industries to include chemical, food manufacturing, plastics, textiles, and regulatory compliance North Carolina OSHA. I have received my Masters degree in the area of Occupational Safety from East Carolina University and my Bachelors degree from Murray State University. I received my Certified Safety Professional designation from the BCSP. In my current role, I support 6 chemical manufacturing and formulation locations for Omnium/Land O Lakes primarily in the Midwest area of the US. In the Omnium division, I manage the Environmental, Health, and Safety processes with a focus of improving the safety culture at all levels within the organization working closely with site and division leadership. My responsibilities include driving safety and environmental performance within the division to achieve leading and lagging performance metrics, implementing corporate safety EHS initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Internal EHS auditing, and managing risk along with worker compensation claims are integral branches that I support.
