   Bruce joined Raymond James & Associates in 1997, where he is a Senior Vice President of Investments and holds the designation of Wealth Management Specialist. Bruce’s areas of focus include energy, master limited partnerships (MLP’s), consumer discretionary, consumer staples, real estate investment trusts (REIT’s) and municipal bonds. He also has extensive experience identifying and managing family estate, gift, and tax planning issues, with access to a team of professionals who implement long-term family planning. Bruce also focuses on Alternative Investments, particularly private equity investments. Bruce is a native Houstonian. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1978 with a B.A. in Political Science and earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 1987. He lives in Houston with his wife Laura and their five children, Stewart, Hallie, Jack, Virginia Carolyn, and Gracey. Outside the office, Bruce stays busy giving back to the community. He is currently a Director of Harris County MUD # 189, a member of The Episcopal Church of St. John the Divine, and a strong supporter of St. John’s School, where he served on the Board of Trustees from 19••••02 and is a current parent. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, birding, and coaching youth sports. Raymond James does not provide legal services.
