   Member of the Senior Leadership Team and serving as primary liaison with the finance, investment, and audit committees for this 175-year-old not for profit membership organization. • Serve as a thought partner with the VP of Advancement, COO, and President to ensure organization-wide financial stability and continuity of its mission. Work closely as an advisor to and with board and committee chairs and members. • Manage all financial functions and audits (financial audit, Form 990 / PC, 5500 retirement plan) • Lead yearly operating and capital budgets and interim forecasting process. • Direct the Institution’s treasury function, ensuring that purpose restricted donations are invested and that endowments are properly and efficiently managed and utilized. • Supervise the Information Technology and Facilities departments and capital expenditure process. • Served a key role through the pre-construction and permitting process for the expansion of the Society’s headquarters location in the Back Bay of Boston. • Raised $18 million of tax-exempt building financing with very favorable terms and increased access to financing availability with a line of credit. • Lead change in banking partners and cash management. • Directed the conversion to a new accounting system (SAGE Intacct).
