C4I System Engineer / SME reporting to the Aegis Ashore Program Office Chief Engineer and provide C4I technical advice and expertise as well as assisting the Chief Engineer in the program management and integration of the C4I systems. • Support the Aegis Ashore Chief Engineer on Navy C4I systems and the integration of those systems from a Sea Based platform to a land based facility as well as technical interfaces with all C4I systems and components that support the Aegis Ashore System. • Working directly with NAVWAR and the In-Service Engineering Agents (ISEAs) to manage all common technical interfaces between all C4I systems in support of the fielding of the Aegis Ashore system as well as ensuring they provide required program management, systems engineering, integration support, testing, and specification tracking to support C4I program alignment to the Aegis Ashore Program. Provide technical, engineering, and logistics expertise for C4I systems by reviewing requirements and capabilities documents.• Participate in Aegis Ashore Engineering IPT (AAE IPT), Aegis Ashore Technical Review Board (TRB), as well as other Aegis Ashore IPTs. Respond to Aegis Ashore technical information requests and participate in IPR’s and IPTs and provide technical support for Aegis Ashore facilities testing and Provide technical services during the integration, installation and testing of C4I systems in their deployed locations. • Review and adjudicate of all design products, actions, and written correspondence by the appropriate SPAWAR technical stakeholders, ISEAs, Army Corps of Engineers, Aegis Ashore Engineering Agent (AAEA), and Missile Defense Agency (MDA) departments to meet commitment completion dates. • Coordinates with NAVWAR, MDA and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to ensure integration interfaces are identified and resolved. Track the progress of NAVWAR installation and test team to ensure Aegis Ashore technical, schedule and programmatic milestones are achieved.
