ABOUT BRUCE MATICHUK

I am a technology entrepreneur and I\'ve been building and working with technology companies since 1986. My focus has always been on products that incorporate \"intelligence\".EntrepreneurAt Celcorp, where I was a founder and the CTO, my role was to build and manage our technology. My team and I built an integration and workflow automation tool that specialized in legacy system connections. We also built a web automation and integration system. I worked on installations at IBM, Apple, Lockheed Martin, United Airlines, Hallmark, Holiday Inn, Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, CIT Group, and America Online.I left Celcorp to start Xymbiant Systems Inc. I was appointed Research Director at Multiplied Media and my team at Xymbiant produced the initial prototypes of what eventually became Poynt. We built a Natural Language based processing system for business directories.In 2006, I co-founded Clinitrust Global Inc. We built the world’s first high-security email system for healthcare. We also developed a method of managing a user\'s identity based on their relationship with their doctors and their network.I am now working on my own startup, Health Gauge which is an AI-based platform for personal health monitoring and management. We manufacture a unique health wearable that integrates with the platform. We also produce are our own weight scale. The platform is fully integrated with HealthKit and Google Fit. All data is securely stored in the cloud.In the 20••••19 time frame I helped launch an AI company called Aidant Intelligent Technology. My AI team and I built a high-performance, scalable face recognition system from the ground up. We also built a behavior recognition system. Our solution was integrated into AXIS cameras. ResearchMy academic interests are in applications of AI to manage complex systems. I have published papers in the areas of system integration, machine learning and image processing. I am currently working on research in Natural Language Processing primarily using GPT-3. Recently, with my AI Team, I’ve developed a self-supervising AI system for bio-signal analysis and image processing.BoardsI have extensive board experience. I am currently on the board of AI/ML Innovations Inc. and on the boards of several other technology companies.Public SpeakingI regularly give talks for university groups, industry groups, and companies. My topics range from Emerging AI, AI in the Workplace, to Innovations in Health Technology. I also provide talks on building a company, implementing AI, and more. I love public speaking.
