ABOUT BRUCE MARTINS
Prior to entering the Healthcare field, I worked for four years as a Scientist & Laboratory Manager at Dow Chemical. My first experience in Senior Living came as a Director of Environmental Services, which was a blessing being that I was able to utilize my Education and 10+ years General Contracting experience. I am a huge advocate of recruiting towards the Healthcare field, especially the Senior Living sector, and am worried about the future and sustainability when navigating the issues of staff retention and how increasingly difficult it is recruit, particularly young professionals, to genuinely serve others. Caregiving is not easy, and leadership across all levels must acknowledge and take care of it’s devoted staff ALL the time! I am a true believer in Transformation and Servant Leadership by uplifting those around me. I am genuine and kind to all those I encounter. Not only do I seek enlightenment to grow as a human being each day, but aspire to be the best leader during a time where empathy appears lacking in society. Our healthcare industry requires more positivity and true leadership now more than never.
