Some of the priorities of my role over the last 2 years:* launch our next-gen platform, moving from a PHP monolith to a microservices based AWS ecosystem (whilst preserving connectivity to existing frontends and consumers)* scale and shape remote software teams through various phases: next-gen product launch, rapid feature expansion, preparation for PE acquisition * participate in the document preparation and interview sessions associated with a PE due diligence process, leading to a successful acquisition * collaborate with Head of QA and Head of Devops to transform our quarterly release cycle into an automated and tightly governed weekly release (coming soon: daily!)* transform software teams to more predictable and measurable output methodology, introducing velocity and burndown and bi-weekly reporting into the organisation * code and deploy dynamic feature flagging software, allowing for new functionality to be enabled or rolled back in seconds (previously, up to 7 days)* develop automations and alerting/monitoring systems to govern and preserve the sanctity of Jira ticketing and code branches, patch processes in our weekly release process
