Hello,My name is Bruce Madeya MLT, ASCP. I am an Epic Beaker analyst for South Shore Health in Weymouth, Massachusetts. I have 30+ years of Laboratory experience in all areas of Hospital clinical laboratories including but not limited to Chemistry, Hematology, Serology, Coagulation with a strong emphasis on Immunohematology. I have held roles of Senior Technologist and Lead Tech including all facets of Maintenance, Validations, Quality Control and Training. I branched out to Laboratory (Beaker) IT in March 2018 with West Virginia University Hospital (WVU) with Epic computer systems. Currently, I am working as an Epic Beaker analyst at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, MA. In addition to Epic Beaker CP and AP, I also am responsible for for third party applications such as Soft Blood Bank systems (SCC) and Unipoc (POS) system.
