ABOUT BRUCE LO
As a national leader in healthcare administration for over two decades, I have dedicated my career to advancing emergency medicine at the region\'s only Level 1 Trauma, Quaternary referral center as well as hospitals across Virginia. My efforts have been instrumental in establishing the Sentara\'s transfer center and co-chairing our award-winning stroke program, driving excellence in patient care and outcomes.Beyond my clinical duties, I actively shape the future of emergency medicine as a Professor at Eastern Virginia Medical School/Old Dominion University, where I teach both residents and students. As a national speaker, I share insights on neurological emergencies and administrative leadership, as well as serving as our health system\'s EMTALA expert. My contributions extend to serving and leading on numerous national and international committees, collaborating with peers to set new standards and innovate within the field.
