For over 25 years I have been a trusted IT advisor to both Fortune 500 Companies and small businesses across the country. Leading a group of pre/post sales engineers, I grew the professional services revenue at a VAR from $4 million to $18 million within 2 years. My knowledge and experience has enabled me to help dozens of companies align IT systems with business objectives.When a major manufacture of PC components needed a global application rollout strategy, I recommended and implemented Citrix which effectively reduced application update time from 12 hours to 10 minutes and eliminated the need to have expensive leased private overseas lines, saving the company millions of dollars. When the largest gold mining company in the world decided to update their core data processing systems, I was brought in to architect and implement a \"soup to nuts\" solution which resulted in sweeping the floor of all outdated servers, storage, network and backup/recovery systems. The end result included EMC and an enterprise storage array, HP servers clustered to provide high availability and failover of all applications, new core network switching using Cisco switches and routers, and an enterprise backup and recovery solution using NetBackup. In addition, a new enterprise management system was implemented using HP Operations and Network Node Manager. I continue to deliver the highest quality solutions and receive top ratings from each client I engage with. I have a passion for technology and because of my extensive experience I continue to keep current with the latest IT trends and developments.My personal interests include: Hiking and mountain travel adventures with my wife, reading, and cycling.
