Based in San Francisco but available nationwide, Ria Health is a startup with an innovative way to treat alcohol dependency. Clients help design their treatment program, and can either cut back on alcohol or stop completely. The company uses a state-of-the-art app to monitor clients\' alcohol use, coupled with a wireless breathalyzer that attaches to a smartphone. Ria\'s method starts with a smartphone app, to make treatment available at home, or anywhere. The program uses medications, typically naltrexone and approved by the FDA, that blunt the effects of alcohol and reduce cravings. The final component is counseling with Ria\'s professional medical staff. To date, the company has shown a success rate of more than 75%.In my work with social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube), I post Ria Health articles, news, and interviews with company leadership, along with relevant articles from respected third-party sources on issues related to alcohol and addiction. Our goals: to present the company in the best possible light, inspiring trust and confidence, and to increase customers. Only 7% of Americans with alcohol problems receive treatment, and we are dedicated to helping the other 93% discover a new way of looking at the issue.
