WORK HISTORY
So1 Plans - Defence Supply Chain Operations and Movements (Dscom) @Cyber & Specialist Operations Command
City Of Bristol, GB
As the DSCOM Plans SO1, I am responsible for leading the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of the deployment, sustainment, and recovery of UK Forces to support operations. My role involves liaising with cross-pillar stakeholders to identify opportunities for sustaining enduring operations through multi-modal, multi-nodal, and multi-national concepts. My team focuses on prioritising air, sea, and land assets while considering equipment availability, Host Nation Support requirements, and diplomatic clearances. We plan the support to deployments to various operational regions, taking into account unit material states, medical sustainment plans, aircraft engineering stores, and spares management. Additionally, as part of the Strategic Base Outload (SBO) HQ, my team and I coordinates Materiel Breakout, National Movements, and Coupling Bridge activities to deploy a mass warfighting force in support of NATO. This involves detailed planning to ensure readiness for warfighting and adherence to NATO-directed timelines, with a strong emphasis on industry collaboration and network support for warfighting preparation and sustainment, while integrating with broader Homeland Defence and government priorities.
