   Mr. Dahl is a registered patent attorney and is managing director of the firm’s Denver office. He also chairs the firm’s intellectual property practice group. Mr. Dahl has extensive experience in all aspects of intellectual property law, including U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, patent infringement studies, design-around efforts, and agreements relating to intellectual property.Mr. Dahl has experience in a wide range of technical fields, including general mechanical and hydraulic-powered machinery, diesel engine emission control systems, particle classifiers, sonic nozzle flow meters, and high pressure cutting and abrading systems. He has also worked with a wide range renewable energy systems, including wind, geothermal, and photovoltaic generating systems, as well as pebble-bed nuclear reactors. His experience in the fields of optics and spectroscopy includes optical sensors, CCD, and CMOS devices, diffraction gratings for stigmatic imaging, laser optical mensuration systems, devices and systems for performing ion mobility and positron emission spectroscopy, as well as systems for monitoring and detecting radiation. He has extensive experience in the fields of powder and extractive metallurgy and has worked with inventions relating to processes and systems for producing metal powders, powder coating systems and devices, and chemical processes for extractive metallurgy. Mr. Dahl has also worked with film coating systems, magnetron cathodes, and power supply systems for reactive and non-reactive sputtering.Mr. Dahl’s past engineering experience in ballistic re-entry vehicle design includes computer modeling of hypersonic aerodynamics and aerodynamic heating.Mr. Dahl represents clients in a wide variety of industries, including the manufacturing, mining, and film coating industries.
