About Bruce Corson

Bruce holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri. Over a 50-year career, he has managed companies across a wide range of industries, supplying consumer products from footwear to frozen foods. As CEO of both his own ventures and established national organizations, he developed what he describes as “an eclectic entrepreneurial background.” Constantly challenged to find creative solutions to complex management issues, he learned firsthand what it takes to help a business not only survive but thrive. Bruce shares his experience and insight through multiple channels. For six years, he served as a chairperson for TEC International, an organization of top-level executives that fosters peer learning in small groups worldwide. He also transformed a concept into a dynamic national program within two years by forming strategic alliances with sponsors across the country. Through his prior affiliation with the Edward Lowe Foundation, Bruce supported its mission of helping business owners scale their companies to the next level. He also served for several years on the Board of Directors of the AARP Foundation, contributing leadership in identifying and refining its mission to better serve those in need. In addition, he served on the National Board of Directors of the Entrepreneurship Institute, a nonprofit that provides educational programs and networking opportunities for leaders of small and mid-market businesses. Known for his ability to spot opportunities others overlook, Bruce combines creativity, perseverance, and a genuine desire to help others achieve success.

Customers have found that having a dedicated project manager, superintendent and foreman assigned to every project results in greater accountability and better results.Specializing in complex interior demolition and exterior demolition projects, fast track, and high liability jobs has become commonplace in its day to day operations. Break Thru manages demolition projects in the commercial, office, retail, healthcare, educational and industrial building sectors. Break Thru has the experience needed to tackle the most difficult projects such as elevators and escalator removal, boilers, fire escapes and new structural openings.
