ABOUT BRUCE CHILTON

In 1992, I began my career in transportation with Roadway Express. Through the years, I have been fortunate to provide my services to several different organizations and in many different capacities, continually adding to my understanding of the transportation marketplace. My varied background offers a depth of experience leading in domestics LTL, TL, Parcel Programs and Third Party Logistics. Ten years ago, I began my leadership within International freight forwarding and Ocean services. During these years, I developed our domestic program, LCL Asian Groupage programs and LCL west coast consolidations. I rose from General Management to Director of Domestic Services. Soon after, I continued my pursuit to provide valued services to my internal and external customers and was asked to serve as Vice President of Sales, leading our sales effort during a time of ownership transition. I now serve our organization as Vice President of Trade Management, leading a team of 12 highly qualified staff members managing the contract management, pricing management and domestic services for all of Ascent Global Logistics - International. All of these areas have brought career growth and provide the avenue for depth of knowledge and solid relationships with all internal and external partners. This experience has provided me with the tools to be an effective senior managerial staff member for Ascent Global Logistics. I joined Ascent 15+ years ago and have never looked back. Over the last 15+ years, we as a team, have continued the great name that Ascent Global Logisitics represents. I am very proud to currently serve such a great organization.
