Engineering Tech Center located in Orrville, OH.Sr Chief Engineer - June 2007 to presentStrategic & Tactical management of both staff & activities related to New Product Design for Global Access Equipment.Joined JLG June 2007 as a Sr. Project Engineer, overseeing projects related to Telehandler New Product Design. Promoted in October 2007 to Sr Engineering Team Lead, with similar technical duties, but with management responsibilities for Design Team. Promoted in 2011 to Chief Engineer. Trained in Six-Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Process-Analysis Tools, GD & T. Promoted in 2021 to Sr Chief Engineer.Currently managing >5 projects related to sustainment & new system development for Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs).Provided sub-project oversight of Orrville-based engineering team, assisting parent-company Oshkosh w/ US Army / US Marine Corps Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) Contract; working w/ Wisconsin-based Systems Engineering Group.Provided project oversight for six brand-new global models of TMH, including integration of four Tier 4f engine packages, working w/ cross-functional teams at North American & European manufacturing facilities. These models were branded for both JLG & Caterpillar, & achieved double-digit cost reduction % compared to predecessor models, while delivering new levels of features, performance, & operator comfort.Provided project oversight for Tier 4i implementation, involving 20 North American models using eight engine packages. Models were branded for both JLG & Caterpillar.Provided project oversight & stability analysis for a Boom Head / Attachment Project. This program involved 16 North American telehandler models, and twelve common attachments. All combinations were analyzed to construct capacity guidelines.
