In this role, I was able to sustain a failed company site; put in place basic manufacturing policies; establish production metrics and communications methods; and introduce lean manufacturing techniques to the site. Upon appointment of permanent site manager, I became responsible for implementation of manufacturing module of ERP system at OKIN site.• At CertainTeed Corporation, I commissioned idle equipment used for the development and manufacture of form tooling. As part of this project, the tooling shop layout was redeveloped to improve work flow, ergonomics, and implement 5S principles.• At ERICO, I developed and commissioned two new ground rod manufacturing lines, One line utilized equipment was salvaged from obsolete equipment, upgraded under my guidance, allowing for introduction of product that accounted for 11% of sales for less than capital investment. The other was developed under my supervision utilizing sub-contractors and internal resources for capital investment, realizing at 25% increase in capacity.
