About Bruce Aronow
I have never been more certain, and passionate, in my belief that we can create new actionable understanding of health and disease using data, current knowledge, and advanced reasoning.To do this my group tries to understand the underlying mechanisms responsible for physiological health and those that cause disease. Some of what I like to do involves developing new analysis and reasoning approaches, and some involves specific problem solving around individual genetic diseases. Almost every day I get to work on problems related to developing and translating mechanistic understanding into better research, better treatments, better preventions.
