As an experienced engineer, strategist, and builder of high-performing teams, I bring over 30 years of leadership in wireless telecommunications, with a deep specialization in LTE EPC/IMS architecture, RF engineering, and transport system design. My career has been dedicated to delivering secure and reliable communications infrastructure for utilities and public safety organizations—advancing both operational efficiency and critical service delivery.In my current role as PLTE/5G Business Line Manager at Burns & McDonnell, I lead national initiatives to modernize utility communications networks. I work alongside investor-owned utilities to architect and deploy private LTE solutions that enhance grid resilience, cybersecurity, and long-term cost control. My responsibilities span business strategy development, total cost of ownership modeling, and full lifecycle project engineering—from RFP creation to network deployment and operational acceptance.Previously, I led LTE and IMS core engineering at Southern Linc, where I managed multimillion-dollar deployments, built Geo-Redundant EPC and IMS cores, and transitioned legacy TDM networks to IP-based systems—establishing the first 4G Only VoLTE and MC-PTT networks the U.S.Throughout my career, I’ve:Built Burns & McDonnell’s private LTE business line from the ground up.Designed NOCs supporting eNodeBs and backhaul networks with microwave paths.Engineered disaster recovery-ready systems with DWDM, MPLS, and satellite redundancy.Developed conceptual deployment strategies now adopted by major IOUs nationwide.What drives me is helping utilities navigate the intersection of evolving grid demands and next-generation communications. I specialize in guiding teams through the technical, operational, and organizational shifts required for mission-critical LTE deployments.
