Roles and Responsibilities: • Developing and owning an IT strategy based on current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems as related to the needs of the business. • Managing the annual IT budget, regularly reviewing and reporting on actual vs budgeted spend throughout the financial year. Identifying and implementing cost optimisation opportunities. • Leading and managing a highly skilled team of IT professionals, driving high standards and continuous professional development. • Working with business unit executives and management teams to define technology-based solutions for improving efficiency and effectiveness. • Analysing and predicting trends and developing technology roadmaps designed to maintain high performance, stability, resilience, security and cost effectiveness. • Proactively researching and recommending courses of action to prevent problems and to maintain high service levels. • Establishing metrics, key performance indicators and service level agreements that accurately instrument the performance of the wider IT department. • Directing the preparation, dissemination and enforcement of information technology standards, resulting in efficient and cost-effective infrastructure and data services. • Ensuring policies and processes are developed and implemented according to applicable regulations and standards such as PCI compliance, ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus. • Managing multiple vendor relationships with strategic technology partners.
