ABOUT BRIAN ROTHERY

An exceptional and versatile Senior Executive at both Strategic and Operational level, with a strong track record of driving business growth, continuous improvement and change management. Extensive practical experience of tools, techniques and methodologies, within a wide range of industry sectors and organisational complexities, has resulted in being able to ensure significant efficiency savings, improved service delivery, smooth transition to new ways of working and subsequent business success. Brian has had many years senior management and Consultancy experience in competitive commercial environments, working to achieve organizational, departmental and individual targets and objectives. By utilizing Strategic and tactical acumen he is able to enthuse teams of management and staff to achieve higher performance levels at maximum cost efficiency. Key highlights include: • Driving major change (OD) programmes/projects This work included alternative ways of working and new forms of service delivery e.g. outsourcing, employee -led mutuals, social enterprises and partnership arrangements with third parties; • Delivering major transformation programmes through working with senior leaders and their teams (eg agile working for major local authorities); creation and delivery of portfolio of ‘process Transformation’ initiatives delivering c£2.5m of savings over 3 years; • Designing and developing a new learning programme to support major shift in organisational way of working (high performance working); • Delivering pan-European Six Sigma Black Belt training for global pioneer of this methodology; • Developing and deploying new leadership initiatives for major retail organizations – successfully linking talent identification, performance management, 360 degree feedback and leadership development programmes; • Supporting and developing over 150 high growth SMEs.
