About David Grenn
I am a state-licensed bilingual (Spanish) professional counselor (Texas, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and New Jersey) and credentialed as a drug and alcohol counselor. I have extensive experience working with dual diagnosis (mental health and substance abuse) and providing sober support and guidance to living each day in sobriety. Specifically with PTSD, past sexual abuse, military trauma, and grief and loss. I work with intensive services (ISP) that help high suicidality clients stabilize their mood and calm down his or her mental health symptoms. I am sensitive to cultural differences and similarities between people and respectful of one\'s values, learning, and behavior. I work extensively with the LGBTQ community and affirm and validate my clients. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). These modalities have provided help to those struggling with traumatic memories. I have been licensed as a Therapist in PA since 2015, Texas since 2019, New Jersey 2021, and Virginia 2023.
