I lead site acquisitions for Bozzuto Development Company throughout our footprint.\\\\n\\\\nResponsibilities include:\\\\n• Spearhead site identification and proforma underwriting for Class A multifamily development. Assess environment, access, and visibility to ensure sites align with internal selection standards. Responsible for data-driven analysis of new market and submarket targets for aggressive expansion of development footprint. Maintain close ties with brokers and development consultants to drive deal flow, add to project pipeline.\\\\n• Develop & refine Bozzuto’s financial model to underpin acquisition and investment decision-making. My work led directly to five new deals going under contract in the last year representing over new units in the pipeline across five states with typical deal sizes of $150M or greater. Negotiate letters of intent, joint venture contribution agreements, or purchase sale agreements as deal structure dictates. Work closely with internal teams to secure & structure optimal financing arrangements.\\\\n• Collaborate with internal team, land use attorneys and local officials to drive rezoning & permitting processes (including projects in MD, VA, FL, & MA). Expedite process & increase chances for success by identifying key decision-makers or local interest groups and their goals, then building ties or leveraging existing relationships to each.\\\\n• Lead weekly deal meeting with CEO/CFO/COO, construction, management, and development teams to update on deal progress, ensure all teams are operating in sync and aware of individual opportunities.\\\\n• Conceive and build new Excel tools for business initiatives to drive increased internal confidence in overall acquisitions process.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
